01How long until I have my first sales link as a creator?
You create a free account in under a minute, upload your ID document once for the KYC check, and can then upload files right away. As soon as the check is complete, your sales link is live and ready to share.
02What exactly do I need to upload for the identity check (KYC)?
An official ID document and a selfie with the document. Our team reviews the details manually. Only after that can you sell and receive payouts.
03Can I sell several files at once?
Yes. You can offer individual files as standalone products or bundle several files into a collection. Every collection gets its own price and its own sales link.
04How does the buying process work for the buyer?
The buyer opens the link in their browser (no account needed), confirms their age, pays by credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or crypto, and receives the download link directly by email. The whole process usually takes under a minute.
05What happens if a buyer abandons checkout?
FlixSell automatically sends the buyer a reminder email. This increases the chance that the purchase is completed later – without you having to do anything.
06How exactly does upselling work?
You can assign up to five optional add-on products to each product. At checkout, a prompt “Complete your order” appears. The buyer can add the extra products with one click, without having to start a separate purchase.
07How does the tip link differ from a regular product sale?
The tip link is a permanent personal link. Fans can send you money through it at any time without having to buy a specific product. The money lands in your wallet just like regular sales.
08What does the example calculation for my share look like?
With a sale price of €20.00, a 12.5% platform fee and a 2.5% payment fee are deducted. You receive €17.00 (85%). The exact current rates are always listed on the Payments & fees page.

09When and how often do I get paid?
Every sale appears in your wallet instantly. Payouts to your bank account are made twice a month – on the 1st and the 15th. There is no minimum amount; even small balances are paid out.
10What security measures protect the platform?
Every creator is verified via KYC. Payments are processed by external, encrypted providers. Download links are single-use and expire after 4 hours.
11What happens to the download link after the purchase?
It stays active for 4 hours. Within this time the buyer needs to download the file. After that, the file belongs to the buyer permanently – only the link itself expires.
12Can I use coupon codes and wishlists?
Yes. You can create time-limited discount codes with a usage limit and set up a public wishlist where fans can buy the products you wish for directly.
13Which currencies can I choose from and how do I set them?
EUR, USD and GBP. You choose the currency per product or collection yourself – depending on where your community is mainly based.
