Payments & fees

Last updated: August 30, 2026 · flixsell.com

How payments, fees and payouts work. A clear overview of our 15% service fee, supported currencies, payout dates on the 1st and 15th, and everything else to do with money at FlixSell.

01 What this page is about

1.1 Context
This page explains how payments, fees and payouts work at FlixSell. It forms part of our Terms of Service, the Refund and Withdrawal Policy and the Privacy Policy and should be read together with them. Should anything here ever conflict with the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service prevail.

02 Our service fee

2.1 15%
We charge a service fee of 15% on every sale you make through FlixSell. You keep the rest, less any refunds or chargebacks, taxes and anything else you owe us under the Terms of Service.

2.2 Current rate
The fee that currently applies is always shown on our pricing page, on the download page and/or in the app, unless we have agreed otherwise with you in writing.

03 How payments are processed

3.1 External providers
Payments are processed by external payment providers, who handle them securely under their own terms. FlixSell sits in between as a technical layer and does not itself store full card details.

3.2 Adult content and card rules
Because adult content is involved, special rules of the card networks and payment providers apply. A payment may therefore be restricted, delayed, held as a reserve or declined altogether, and this is outside our control.

04 Prices and currencies

4.1 Display and conversion
Buyers see the price before they pay. We support several currencies, and the amount actually charged may be converted by the payment provider or the buyer's bank, in each case at their own exchange rates and fees.

05 How you get your money (payouts)

5.1 Dates
We pay out twice a month, on the 1st and the 15th. There is no minimum amount: every amount you earn is paid out. Earnings from the 1st to the 15th of a month are paid out on the 1st of the following month, earnings from the 16th to the end of the month on the 15th of the following month.

5.2 Account and KYC
Payouts go to the details linked to your verified account. Before we can pay anything out, your identity and age verification (KYC) must be completed.

5.3 Arrival and third parties
When exactly the money arrives with you depends on your bank or payment provider. We cannot be held liable for delays or fees caused by third parties, or for payouts sent to incorrectly provided details.

06 Taxes

6.1 Uploader's responsibility
Unless we state otherwise, our fees are exclusive of taxes. Determining, collecting, reporting and remitting the taxes that arise on your sales (including sales, use and withholding taxes in the US and abroad) is your responsibility, and on request you will provide us with accurate information for this purpose (including, where applicable, Form W-9, W-8BEN or comparable forms). Where the law requires it, we may file information returns (e.g. Form 1099) and send you tax-related documents.

07 Reserves, holds, set-off and chargebacks

7.1 Reserve and recovery
We may establish a rolling reserve, hold back funds, or deduct and recover amounts owed. This includes refunds, chargebacks, fees and losses from fraud. We may take these amounts from your balance, from funds due to be paid out, from a linked bank account or from another FlixSell account associated with you, and convert currencies at the applicable rate where necessary.

7.2 Refunds charged to the uploader
If a buyer receives a refund, we may reclaim the corresponding amount from your balance or offset it against it.

7.3 Chargebacks
If you are a buyer and have a problem, please contact FlixSell support at support@flixsell.com first before initiating a chargeback. Chargebacks that we consider unjustified will be contested with supporting evidence, and they may lead to an account being suspended.

08 Failed or declined payments

8.1 Third-party declines
Sometimes a payment provider or the buyer's bank declines a payment, for example because of incorrect details, a card limit or the card rules for this type of content. We are not liable for payment problems caused by incorrect user information.

09 Refunds

9.1 Reference
When a refund is possible, what is excluded and how to request one is set out in the Refund and Withdrawal Policy. Refunds are returned through the respective payment provider to the original payment method.

10 Changes to our fees

10.1 Advance notice
We may adjust our fees from time to time. If we increase a fee or introduce a new one for a service you are currently using, we will let you know at least 30 days before it takes effect (longer if the law requires it).

11 Late payment

11.1 Default interest
You are responsible for ensuring that all fees, taxes and amounts due are paid on time. In the event of late payment, we may charge default interest at the maximum rate permitted by law under the law of the State of Wyoming, as well as reasonable reminder fees. You remain free to prove that a lower amount of damage, or none at all, has occurred. Further claims for damages remain unaffected.
